Connected in Him
To receive Christ in your life is a divine connection. You
are connected to God allmighty through
Jesus Christ. We have value and positive results because of our vital
connection with Jesus. Jesus said, “Remain
in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must
remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”
(John 15:4).
Meno
Greek word for “remain” or abide is “meno” it denotes continuity, to continue be in Christ. Its a progressive
term. Definitely there is a beginning point of abiding, this is called faith.
We start and continue to remain in Him by faith. When we accept Christ by faith
and continue to believe Him with obedience of love we bear fruits.
In this Kingdom we live by faith. Someone said that is not right to talk much
about faith because there are other topics to be tough in this Kingdom. That is
true, but consider this scripture, “…Without faith it is impossible to please
Him…” (Hebrews 11:6). In order to
please God in this Kingdom faith must be at the forefront.
Importance of Faith
You cannot live with God without faith. You cannot bear
fruits without it; You cannot receive from God without faith, You cannot resist
Satan without faith, you cannot live
holy life without faith, you cannot receive healing without faith, you cannot
love without faith. Faith is central issue in Christianity, in fact our
relationship with Jesus as Christians is called “The faith”, “And the word of God increased; and number of
disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests
were obedient to the faith.” (Acts 6:7).
Grafted By Faith
Our connection with God is our faith, The Bible says unbelief
disunited/un-grafted Israelis from God, in other words, faith would graft them
with God, “ And if they do not persist in
unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.”
(Romans 11:23).
Nurture Your Faith
Continue your connection with God by
replenishing your faith
1. Always read the Word of God,Especially epistles (Written
letters to churches; Ephesians, Phillipians, Colosians).
2. Maintain a discipline of reading eg two chapters everyday,
three chapters ect.
3.Have a quit times of thinking the word
4. Write inspirations or understanding you get it these quit
times
5. Always
pray what the word says and not empty words
6. Continue
to speak the word to your negative environment
By doing these you can
start to nurture and grow your faith/Your life, Eventually you will maintain your
connection with God
