Spiritual battle we are engaged in is much as a boxing match. Once a boxer sees his opponent's weakness, he uses it to his advantage. He begins pounding at the spot where he has already inflicted the most damage, because he knows that it will be only a matter of time before his opponent buckles to his knees.

The devil has the same strategy. Whether it's your health, your family, your career, your finances, or another aspect of your life, he will study the area where the most damage seems to have been inflicted and continuing pounding it, waiting patiently for you to surrender to him. Your job is to tell the devil that the only to whom you will surrender is God, and for Him only will you fall to your knees!(George G. Bloomer).
